Mobile Dentistry for Assisted Living and Nursing Homes

At Front Porch Dental, we bring compassionate, professional dental care directly to residents in assisted living and nursing homes. Our mobile dentistry services are designed to meet the unique needs of older adults and those with limited mobility, providing high-quality treatment in a familiar, comfortable setting.

Why mobile dentistry matters

  • Reduces stress: Traveling to a dental office can be physically and emotionally taxing for residents. On-site care eliminates transportation challenges and minimizes disruption to daily routines.

  • Improves access: Many older adults face barriers like limited mobility, cognitive impairment, or lack of reliable transportation. Mobile services ensure consistent access to preventive and restorative dental care.

  • Enhances quality of life: Good oral health affects eating, speaking, social interaction, and overall health. Regular dental care helps reduce pain, infection, and complications related to systemic conditions.

How our mobile visits work

  • Facility partnership: We coordinate with nursing home or assisted living staff to schedule visits that fit residents’ needs and facility routines.

  • Pre-visit review: We review medical histories, medication lists, and any special care instructions to ensure safe treatment.

  • Portable, high-quality equipment: Our team uses portable, dental-grade instruments and sterilization protocols to deliver the same standard of care you’d expect in an office.

  • Resident comfort: We prioritize gentle care, clear communication, and pacing to accommodate cognitive or physical limitations. Family members and caregivers are welcome to be present.

  • Follow-up and continuity: We provide written reports to the facility and families, recommend follow-up care, and coordinate referrals for complex needs.

Cancellations made 48 hours or less before an appointment will be subject to a charge of $100.00.
